Why must I be certified before I operate a Bob

The occupational health and safety act requires that all
persons operating a skid steer loader / Bob Cat must be
certified.
How long is my certification good for?
The occupational health and safety act requires that you get
re-certified every 3 years.
What must I do when my skid steer certification
expires?
It's simple! Homme’s Landscape Employees can come back to our
website and access another training key. You will take the test
again, get a certified person to do your evaluation and return
the evaluation form to us. We will then issue your
updated card.
What are the requirements to get my
certification?

Valid California Class A driver’s license for advanced
truck driving.

The written or online test.

30 hours of hands on emersion or on the job training with a
skidsteer.

Oral quize on operation and care of a
skidsteer.
Can I take the online skid steer / Bob Cat training if I don't
work for your company?
No. You can
purchase your training from agencies that specialize in heavy
equipment.
How much does the online course cost?
Homme’s Landscape Employees will be issued training keys
through its Leadership Advancement Programs.
How do I get a training key for a Skidsteer
Certification?
Receive a Class A drivers license.
Who has developed this online skid steer safety
training?
A certified trainer that has more than 20 years experience in
the safety training industry.
How long does the skid steer / Bob Cat training
take?
It all depends on the individual, but it takes approximately 30
minutes.
Is this online safety training OSHA Recognized?
Yes, all our courses are osha recognized. If you have any
concerns please contact Bruce or one of our certified trainers
and we will gladly address your concerns.
What is a passing score?
